When our chakras are aligned and balanced, we feel healthy, vibrant, and connected to our higher selves.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seven chakras are:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Root chakra (Muladhara):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This chakra is at the base of our spine and is associated with grounding, stability, and basic survival needs. Its color is red.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sacral chakra (Svadhisthana):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This chakra is located just below the belly button and governs creativity, sensuality, and emotions. Your intention sets the tone of your manifestation, so be clear about what you want.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I always recommend focusing on the feeling of what you want rather than the specifics \u2013 this makes it easier to manifest and guarantees you\u2019ll feel good about your result. So, for example, say you want to manifest a new partner. Later in this article, I\u2019ll give examples of crystals well-suited to popular manifestation topics.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Which crystals are you drawn to visually? <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pay attention to the crystal\u2019s color, shape, and texture \u2013 which are you drawn to visually? Don\u2019t worry about this being a seemingly \u2018superficial\u2019 way of choosing a crystal \u2013 our intuition often voices itself through what we feel drawn to.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>How does it feel when you hold the crystal?<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If you\u2019re lucky enough to have access to a physical crystal store, I recommend you pick up different crystals and see how they feel when you hold them. It might be very subtle, but you can often feel it when you\u2019ve found the right one.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next, choose what type and shape of crystal to get. Earlier in this article, I described different ways to use crystals, so think about what suits you. For example, would you like a crystal necklace that you can wear? Or would you prefer to have one that doubles as decor?<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The shape of the crystal can also make a difference. For example, crystals with sharp points, such as pyramids and crystal points, have direct and focused energy. In contrast, spheres and polished tumble stones have smoother and more even energy.<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to cleanse and charge crystals<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keeping crystals cleansed and charged is essential, whether you use them for manifestation or not.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crystals absorb energy from their environment, and you don\u2019t know what they might have picked up before you got them, so you need to cleanse them. Luckily, it\u2019s straightforward to do. Here are some ways to cleanse your crystals:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Submerging in saltwater: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salt is an excellent cleanser that efficiently absorbs negative energy.\u00a0 Add sea salt to a container with water (one or two teaspoons per pint).. Leave the crystals in the water for a few hours or overnight. <\/span><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ensure that the water won\u2019t damage the crystal. Some crystals, such as malachite, selenite, and hematite, should not be cleansed this way.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Smoke cleansing: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can use sage, palo santo, or other purifying incense to cleanse the crystals. Hold the crystal in the smoke for a few minutes while visualizing the negative energies carried up and away.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Cleansing with sound: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can use rattles, bells, tuning forks, or singing bowls to cleanse the crystals. Allow the sound vibrations to surround the crystal, either by moving the crystal around the sound source or vice versa. Repeat for a few minutes.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Burying in the Earth: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is another excellent way to cleanse crystals of negative energies, as the Earth will absorb and transmute those energies. Bury them in the ground overnight or for a few days.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next, you will want to charge your crystals. This will enhance and amplify their energy and attune it to your purpose.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some people like to leave crystals in the moonlight (especially under a full moon) or the sunlight. However, the best way to charge a crystal for manifesting is to use your energy and intention.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My method of doing this is to hold the crystal cupped in my hands while sending energy to it. Here are the steps:<\/span><\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sit comfortably and still your mind by taking a few deep breaths.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bring your intention to mind. Imagine this intention as energy in a glowing ball above your head. Give it a color or texture if you wish.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next, see the energy enter your crown and flow downwards into your body until it reaches your heart.
